Integrated into the Paris metro network, operated by the RATP, the funicular is reachable with a single ticket for an ideal and friendly service.
At the heart of Paris, Montmartre and the Sacré Cœur Basilica are among the most visited places in the capital. With 7000 annual hours of operation for more than 2 million passengers carried, the POMA funicular offers a perfect service availability .
A system of locking doors and weight monitoring of the cabin at the start enables an automated operation, without dedicated staff.
Communication between the cabin and the stations are provided by a wireless radio link.
With double advantage: greater availability in the event of an incident on one of the tracks providing an ideal continuation of operation, the possibility of increasing the flow in one direction at peak times, with quicker cabin return.
