Overlooking the town of Chamonix, the Cable car has a real "urban" function linking the city to the Brévent skiing area.
A single cable for an exceptional gondola lift ... With a diameter of 58 mm, it is the largest cable hauler in the world!
Double motor: suspended + below ground machinery. Redundancy allows an ideal service continuity: if a problem occurs on one drive, the lift can run on the other motor at a reduced capacity.
This configuration provides a redundancy which ensures a very high rate of lift availability .
In the case of an Incident on a safety line, the other line ensures the continued safe operation. The search for the break down occurs therefore behind the scenes.
The ideal solution for the optimization of the available surface area, and allows a wide arrival area for the skiers. The garage is made of metal beams with concrete cover slabs.
