Philippe Cordon, Mayor of Chamrousse (France) and the team operating the ski area inaugurated their new 6-seater detachable grip chairlift serving the new Casserousse black run. It was the occasion to unveil the brand new, entirely remodeled black run, where Jean-Claude Killy won the first of his three gold medals at the 1968 Olympic Games.
Innovation is at the heart of the new Casserousse DL, paying close attention to the environmental sustainability of the project while integrating state-of-the-art performance (availability), comfort (lift configuration) and safety (Hyperview system).
Casserousse is now the third entryway to the Chamrousse ski area and is part of the Chamrousse 2020-2030 development project.
