POMA attended the COP22

poma_cop22_320x170The 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties of the Framework Convention of the United Nations on the climate change (COP22)  took place in Marrakesh from 7 to 18 November 2016.

On the occasion of his official visit, the President of French Republic, Mr François Hollande, organized a meeting with the French companies that were present in Marrakesh,  and which work in the sector of the energy transition and sustainable solutions.

Representing the POMA Group, Mr Pierre Ract, Export Director Deputy and Mr Mehdi Caillis, Sales Export manager Area Africa –Middle East, spoke on various subjects:

  • Promote POMA‘s ropeways solutions, as an answer to the problems of soft and clean mobility in the urban zones.
  • Show the successes of POMA in Africa, specially through the JV with the Algerian state
  • Enhance the recent signature of the partnership with WWF France, which bring environmental concerns more upstream POMA’s innovations
  • Thank all the State‘services which contribute to the international developement of POMA.

This meeting was also the opportunity to offer personally to the President of French Republic, the reference book that trace back POMA company and the cable car epic through 80 years of existence, and thus, to value ist expertise, its innovations and the investment of all collaborators.
