The Mountain Planet exhibition, that took place from April 18th to 20th in Grenoble (France) came to an end. On this special occasion, the POMA Group signed several contracts and preliminary agreements with French and international players from the winter sports sector, including:
- Japan was the first with a preliminary agreement to install a 10-seater cable car equipped with the new Symphony and a 6-seater detachable chairlift for the Niseko Hanazono ski resort ready for the 2019/2020 ski season.
- The Châtel station (France) with a signature of an order for two 6-seat chairlifts: one detachable chairlift and the second chairlift making possible to link the two valleys with the arrival directly on the Swiss plateau thereby.
- China, with the signature of a tripartite cooperation agreement to develop two new ski resorts in the Jilin province.
An exhibition placed under the label « A connection we share! »
POMA has also taken the opportunity at the Mountain Planet to host its guests on a new stand which unveiled the strong signature for its new brand territory - “A connection we share!”.
POMA designed its stand as an area for exchanges, formal or informal. The guests, clients and journalists were able to participate to an “Agora” and attend to technical conferences. Several innovations were presented, including the digital assistance solutions to l’E&M UPILOT and COPILOT, the SMARTBOARD developed by SEMER or even the new DirectDrive ant the new Symphony and EVO cabins.
Another speaker of the Agora, Marie Bochet, with 4 gold Paralympic medals and 9 World Cup in para-alpine skiing in 2018, shared about her Gold season! The POMA ambassador received from the prestigious Grenoble-based chocolatier Zugmeyer 8 chocolate medals (to match her 8 gold ones won since 2014) and Jean Souchal, Chairman of the POMA Management Board, was presented with a chocolate replica of the first cable car built by POMA 80 years ago!
Meeting has already been set up for the next homologue exhibition: Interalpin 2019 (Innsbruck – Austria).
