Projects supported

The POMA Foundation’s mission is to support projects of general interest linked to Mobility, in the fields of sport, disability, solidarity and the environment.

This theme of Mobility reflects the core business of the POMA Group, the leader in ropeway transport. Within the Foundation, it is understood in its broadest sense and under different aspects: From soft mobility to preserve the environment, to social mobility on issues of integration and solidarity among disadvantaged people, including the mobility inherent in sports, a vehicle for surpassing oneself.

Strongly anchored in the Group’s DNA, mountains play an important role in the projects supported by the Foundation.

2020- september

Meeting with SEB Group
A team from the POMA Foundation went to meet Groupe SEB to talk about CSR and corporate sponsorship, and to learn about Groupe Lyonnais projects in the fight against exclusion, supported by the SEB endowment fund. Our ambassador and member of the Foundation, Marie Bochet, also came to share her ideas for projects around inclusion through sport.

2020 – March

FRENCH SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS PARASPORTS & ADAPTED SPORTS
Around 30 employees took part in actions to help organise the French ski championships, Parasports in Peisey Vallandry, then Adapted Sports in Lelex – Mont Jura. Some of the tasks entrusted to our volunteers included smoothing the tracks and checking the doors for Alpine ski races, managing supplies and welcoming the athletes for Nordic ski races, or serving meals in the evening.

2016

POMA Colombia supports children
To beautify their school while sending a message of peace, this is the project that was proposed by the young members of the “children’s social volunteering school.” For this purpose, the young people made a mural with the aim of ” invite the people of the neighborhood to work together for the construction of peace and the well-being of all.
