More about

The project

In the Hebei province, a few hours from Beijing, the new winter sports resort of Cuiyunshan is up-and-coming. Buoyed by the enthusiasm for the Olympic Games, this new resort dedicated to the teaching of winter sports, with emphasis also on all-year-round activities, promises to be a major tourist development

POMA has installed an imposing Telemix®, which combines both a detachable six-seater chairlift and an eight-person gondola lift with the capacity to transport 2400 pph. Very practical for children and beginners in particular, this Telemix is the backbone of the skiing area, transporting skiers up to the resort's highest peak.

POMA, innovation

for the project

The Télémix®,

perfect for beginners

Cuiyunshan aims to be a resort dedicated to ski tuition. The Telemix cabins are easy to board for children and beginners, who can remove their skis and reach the slopes safely.

An all-year-round

ropeway

Leaving from the foot of the slopes, the Telemix takes skiers to the peak and the start of the skin runs in just a few minutes. While the ropeway is operated in Telemix mode in the winter season, it can be operated exclusively in gondola lift mode in the summer season to take walkers up to the resort’s highest peak to enjoy the panoramic views.
