Consortium leader POMA and EGIS have been tasked with a cable transportation project for the city of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. POMA will implement the first urbain ropeways in Ulaanbaatar.

At the beginning of March, 30 employees took part in actions to help organise the French ski championships, Parasports in Peisey Vallandry, then Adapted Sports in Lelex - Mont Jura.

Sharing over 80 years of history with the resort, POMA has supported Alpe d’Huez in the construction of dedicated public transport, a 2 km urban gondola lift, connecting the resort centre to the slopes.

POMA has developed a three-section aerial transport line with a total length of 5 km consisting of two gondola lifts and an aerial ropeway in Tizi Ouzou, a town located 100 km from Algiers.

UPILOT® is the first digital training management platform dedicated to ropeway systems. It includes both traditional teaching principles and the world’s first immersive training tool in ropeway transport. Designed and deployed on a very large scale by the POMA Group.
