URBAN CABLE CAR – ANGELO

The Angelo urban cable car was inaugurated in Ajaccio at the end of October 2025. This 3km urban cable car route serves four multimodal stations across the Corsica’s biggest city. Itconnects the new hospital, schools, sports facilities, and the Mezzavia shopping centre. With a capacity of 1,500 people per hour in each direction, Angelo is establishing itself as a credible alternative to private cars, with a journey time of just 12 minutes between Mezzavia, the Saint-Joseph area and the seafront.
