At the heart of the Grand Massif Resort, the new Funiflaine valley lift will usher in a whole new approach to mobility in mountain areas while cutting road traffic, in line with the region’s sustainable development policy. Connecting the valley to the ski resort of Flaine, the future aerial tramway will be used to carry people and their luggage, as well as supplies for shops and hotels in the skiing area.

In Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, the fifth largest island in the world, the population has increased tenfold in 60 years to reach 3.5 million inhabitants. As part of a sustainable restructuring of the city's mobility system, the first urban cable car line was installed to carry over 40,000 passengers a day.

With the “Nuage de Beauval” (literally, the Cloud of Beauval”), Beauval and POMA combined their expertise to design and build a gondola lift that is one of a kind in France. The gondola lift connects the panda and elephant areas to the lion kingdom in just a few minutes. In addition to being a great mobility solution within the park, it also offers a unique experience in France for the 1.5 million annual visitors who enjoy fantastic views over many areas of the park, aboard gondolas with glass flooring.

At the beginning of March, 30 employees took part in actions to help organise the French ski championships, Parasports in Peisey Vallandry, then Adapted Sports in Lelex - Mont Jura.
