UPILOT®, a dedicated training solution
UPILOT® is the first digital training management platform dedicated to ropeway systems. It includes both traditional teaching principles and the world’s first immersive training tool in ropeway transport. Designed and deployed on a very large scale by the POMA Group.
UPILOT® helps acquire and upgrade the skills necessary to operate and maintain ropeway transport systems. It is suitable for all types of operation (snow, tourism and urban) and for all profiles present in the company, from the operator to the Operation manager.

Our specialised technical maintenance teams, present in France and around the world, are always ready to work with you whenever you need. Where expertise or troubleshooting requires it, an on-site maintenance process is implemented, including the assignment of qualified personnel from the Group’s entities and its network of partners. One single goal: limit the consequences of a possible shutdown, whether on a site in France or across the world.

Funiflaine, a new valley lift enhancing quality of life in the region
At the heart of the Grand Massif Resort, the new Funiflaine valley lift will usher in a whole new approach to mobility in mountain areas while cutting road traffic, in line with the region’s sustainable development policy. Connecting the valley to the ski resort of Flaine, the future aerial tramway will be used to carry people and their luggage, as well as supplies for shops and hotels in the skiing area.

The 6th Metrocable line in Medellin
The Medellín Metrocable opened its 6th gondola lift line, "Line P", on 10 June 2021, pursuing the development of this sustainable public transport network, which has been a global model for the past 15 years.
The pioneering city of Medellín set the standard for a new model of urban mobility by integrating a gondola lift into its public transport network in 2004: a world first which became an international benchmark with 5 lines in operation, able to accommodate nearly 220,000 passengers per day over 14 kilometres of lines.

To retrofit its urban overhead transport system, the city of Chiatura chose POMA. Four small urban ropeways, developed specifically to satisfy the needs in terms of capacity and the constraints regarding distances, have replaced some (very) old Russian ropeways.

Quadran
POMA-Leitwind handled the delivery, installation and maintenance of six 1.65 MW Hh48 class A LTW80 wind turbines in Guadeloupe.
These machines replace 20 wind turbines installed in the early 2000s on the site of Fonds Caraïbes in Guadeloupe, the island of the French West Indies. The new wind turbines are designed to withstand cyclones.
