												In 2022, the authorities in Sikkim launched a cable car in Pelling, the 12th built by POMA in India. One kilometer long, it has 14 eight-seater cabins and connects the town to Sanghak Choeling Monastery, facilitating access to the bodhisattva Chenrezig. 												Located at the foot of Mont Blanc, Saint-Gervais-les-Bains is increasingly focusing on sustainable mobility solutions. The Le Valléen 10-seater gondola lift, whose bottom station is directly linked to the du Fayet train station, offers a fast, multimodal link to the center of Saint-Gervais. The new lift is already very popular with students, but is also an ideal solution for tourists travelling to Saint-Gervais by train from Paris or London.

												A new “Glaciers” gondola lift strategically links Plagne Bellecôte resort to the Glacier de la Chaupe. Comprising two sections that can operate independently, it provides a link between 2,700 m and 3,000 m, whatever the weather conditions. 												The spa town of Luchon, in the heart of the Pyrenees, has a new gondola lift linking it to its ski resort at an altitude of 1,800 meters. The old gondola lift had already been in operation for 30 years, and the new Luchon Crémaillère Express gondola brings with it the benefits of a new generation of cable cars, symbolizing a modern, sustainable means of transport.

Equateur – Guayaquil – ongoing project
												In order to improve the flow of daily traffic between Duran and Guayaquil, Ecuador’s economic capital, and offer an alternative solution for crossing the estuary, the local authorities have opted for ropeway transportation.
Ecuador’s first urban gondola lift links Duran and Guayaquil, providing fast, smooth travel throughout the transport network for 40,000 passengers a day.

												The Les 3 Vallées company entrusted POMA with the construction of the new emblematic gondola lift of Les Grangettes. 												Each day, limestone was transported to the cement plant of Secil Supremo Cimentos by hundreds of trucks, with a huge environmental impact: gas emissions, damage to the road, material spills. The loads are now carried via a FlyingBelt®, a transport solution with a very low environmental impact that is perfectly adapted to topographic constraints.

												POMA carried out the special inspection of the iconic funicular railway in Lyon. During the inspection, its carriers as well as the drive station were completely renovated and upgraded in SIGMA’s workshops, according to the SYTRAL guidelines aimed at “providing users with an even greater level of comfort, while preserving the line’s historic heritage”.

												With the “Nuage de Beauval” (literally, the Cloud of Beauval”), Beauval and POMA combined their expertise to design and build a gondola lift that is one of a kind in France. The gondola lift connects the panda and elephant areas to the lion kingdom in just a few minutes. In addition to being a great mobility solution within the park, it also offers a unique experience in France for the 1.5 million annual visitors who enjoy fantastic views over many areas of the park, aboard gondolas with glass flooring.

										Yeosu Cablecar
South Korea – Yeosu – 2013
												Compared to the construction of a third bridge, the Yeosu gondola lift was the ideal solution to connect the island of Doslando to the mainland. Discreet, comfortable, fast and environmentally friendly, the gondola lift is perfectly suited to the city’s transportation needs.
This original voyage over the Namhae Sea also quickly won over the passengers, and the Yeosu gondola lift quickly became a major attraction in the area.

France – Saint François (Guadeloupe) – 2020
												POMA-Leitwind handled the delivery, installation and maintenance of six 1.65 MW Hh48 class A LTW80 wind turbines in Guadeloupe.
These machines replace 20 wind turbines installed in the early 2000s on the site of Fonds Caraïbes in Guadeloupe, the island of the French West Indies. The new wind turbines are designed to withstand cyclones.
